Animal Science

Through the practice of animal husbandry students will gain an understanding of the care requirements for a broad range of species including poultry, mammals, fish, and invertebrates. With a focus on understanding life cycles and how the environment affects the health and well being of an animal, students begin to understand that we have the power to make positive change for other living things. Introductions to chemistry are included with our aquarium science units, as are discussions of animal behavior, ecology, and genetics.
